As a high school student, I competed in SkillsUSA in Collision Repair and Leadership. I have worked in the auto collision repair industry for 17 years and in 1992 I became a certified Career and Technical Education teacher. My first teaching job was at West Technical Skills Center in Bremerton as the Collision Repair Technology instructor. While at the skills center, my students competed in SkillsUSA and in total, won 21 state championships in Collision Repair, Auto Refinishing, Job Skills Demonstration, Action Skills, and Job Readiness competitions. In 2015 New Market’s SkillsUSA Chapter Qualified 4 students to compete at the National level in Louisville, Kentucky My hobbies are fishing, fishing and fishing.
